The Pitbull is a dog breed that is well-known for its strength and power.  

Often considered a fierce and intimidating dog, many people assume that they are unbeatable in a fight.  

However, there are other dog breeds that could give a Pitbull a run for its money.  

In this article today, we will be revealing the top 10 dog breeds that could defeat a Pitbull in a fight.  

But before we start, let us clarify that we do not promote or support dog fighting of any kind.  

The purpose of this article is to inform and educate, not to encourage any illegal or harmful activities involving animals.  

And now, with that said, let’s begin the list. 


10 – Sarplaninac

Starting the list off at number 10 is the Illyrian Shepherd dog, also known as the Sarplaninac

5 – Tibetan Mastiff

The ancient guardian of the Himalayas, Tibetan Mastiffs take the fifth spot on our list for good reason.  

With males standing at an average of 26-29 inches and weighing between 90-150 pounds, these massive dogs boast a powerful combination of size and strength.

Also known as the Alabai, this is a breed that exudes power and strength from every angle.  

Hailing from the rugged terrain of Central Asia, these dogs have been bred for centuries to protect livestock and property from wolves, bears, and other predators.
